Even as a fashion blogger I follow fashion bloggers. I love seeing other women’s style because I feel like it gives me a little insight into their personalities and their lives. But, I mainly follow fashion bloggers, like you I’m sure, for inspiration!

It’s no secret that the easiest way to shop a blogger’s outfit is via links on their blog or via like to know it or shop style it on instagram, which send shoppable emails to your inbox. But, if you can’t afford or don’t want to buy a new outfit every day (who does), then scroll on down to get some tips on how to recreate a blogger’s #ootd for less.

4 easy ways to recreate a blogger’s #ootd:

1 – wait for a sale: a lot of the clothing I post comes from stores like Ann Taylor, LOFT, Nordstrom, and Banana Republic, all of which have mega sales all the time; so, tag an item you like and wait for a sale to purchase!

2 – buy one piece of the #ootd: focus on buying pieces that you can get some longevity out of; for example, the flares in today’s post would be a good item to purchase because they will take you from Fall to Spring and you can easily change your look every time you wear them simply by pairing them with a different top and/or shoe

3 – check your closet: duh! Chances are you already have a top that resembles one in a blog post that you could use to recreate a look; for example, I bet you have a pink blush top in your closet that you could use to recreate today’s #ootd – it may not be long sleeve, but just having a top in this color would do!

4 – riff the theme: so, the main components in today’s outfit involve pairing some of Fall’s trendiest colors: blush and merlot; although you may not have a pink top and a merlot jacket, you may have a merlot colored dress that you could pair with a blush colored scarf or a blush handbag and still give off the same vibe as today’s look
