Happy Wednesday, friends!! I hope you’re all having an amazing week so far. I ended up having an unusually light work day yesterday as far as speech therapy and meetings go, so I had a chance to sit down and answer emails and even squeeze in a little yoga. All that to say, I am feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of this week!
It is no secret, y’all, that gingham, yet again, is one of the most popular prints this season and will likely stay through summer. And honestly, I’m okay with it. What I like about trends that involve prints and/or patterns is that you start to see a lot of variation on the trend and it seems to be easier to find a way to incorporate it into your own personal style.
I’ve been seeing a lot of this cold shoulder top (only $39), I’ve been eyeing this adorable gingham one piece, and of course you can never go wrong with a shirt dress. But the gingham in today’s post? That’s got “Anna” written all over it. For one, it’s a romper. Automatic win. Secondly, the ruffle details along the bodice and the hem of the romper add the perfect feminine touch. And lastly, the back! How cute is the back? (For those of you that have a chest like me and immediately thought “well I’m out because I can’t wear a bra” when you saw the back, you’re surprisingly wrong! I initially thought the same thing, but put on some sticky boobs, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how well the back tie can hold you up! Trust me!)
