Fall is by far my favorite season and we're already getting glimpses of Fall as clothing stores shift their merchandise and stores like Michaels start to put out Halloween decorations. That being said, it is so tempting for me to start buying and wearing Fall clothing, but the second I walk outside in to the 100 degree Texas heat I am instantly reminded that it is most definitely still summer weather. Yes, there are some cities that can pull off wearing light sweaters and jackets right now, but that is not the case for Dallas. So, in an answer to some of y'all's questions, I will be posting about how to start wearing some of Fall's biggest trends right now and how to adapt them to your climate - however hot it may be!
Today's outfit incorporates a little summer and a little Fall. Breezy, white boho tops have been big this Summer and so I found a top that not only gives off a boho vibe, but the sleeve length speaks more to Fall weather. The key to wearing longer sleeves in warmer climates is finding fabric that breathes well. For me, the sleeves of this top are sheer so it still feels cool to wear! I paired this top with a classic denim cut, d'orsay pumps - big this summer and on into Fall, and added a ruby colored crossbody bag with tassels. Tassels are big right now and will carry into Fall, and the big Fall colors this year are navy, emerald and maroon - think jewel tones!
