Vests have to be one of the coziest winter accessories. They’re practical, comfortable, and stylish. They are also one of my favorite things to wear when I’m running around with my two littles. I love that they give the illusion that I look put together. 😉

I used to think that the only vests worth investing in were black leather jackets or fleece vests to work out in. I am so glad I’ve gotten over this misconception.

Over the years I have learned that vests in fun patterns or bold colors can be just as versatile as a neutral colored vest. In fact, not only are they versatile, but they add character to an otherwise normal outfit.

So at this point you may be thinking, “okay, so your outfit in today’s post is cute, but how would you style this for another outfit?” Great question! You could pair it over a chunky cream colored cable knit sweater or over a berry colored sweater vest, or even go bold and pair it over a larger checked top or a striped turtle neck.

Side note: a lot of you have been asking about my sunnies and so I thought I’d share that I got these Karen Walker sunnies via Ditto. Ever heard of it? I hadn’t either until a couple of months ago. Basically, you can “rent” designer sunglasses for only $24/month. You can wear them for as long or as little as you would like and when you’re ready for a new pair, you simply pick out the new pair online, they’re shipped to you at no cost, and then you send the old ones back. So easy, huh? I’m obsessed because I just can’t bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on sunnies that could be flushed down the toilet by my two year old. If you’re interested in trying it out, you can get your first month FREE with code: “fleurdille” – enjoy!!
