Rompers make me happy. Just like a good sundress, they have to be one of the easiest ways to make a statement without putting any effort in. I especially love this one because it hits on two trends that are big right now – floral patterns and lace-up fronts.
While I’ve fully embraced the floral trend, I’ve been more hesitant to embrace the lace-up trend. Why? Well, I have struggled to find a lace-up top or romper that doesn’t dip too low or show too much skin. This one is great though because you can lace it all the way up and it still makes a statement without showing any cleavage. Then, add a bold colored clutch, some fun sunglasses, and you’re set!
To make more of a statement, I added some fun cut-out suede booties to help elongate my leg. Summer suede is a big trend right now! As you know, I’m always harking on showcasing your best attributes, and at the moment, that’s my legs (still working on that post-baby tummy…). So, adding a little height helps draw one’s attention to my legs and away from the area I don’t want people to focus on. Note: these fun booties come in black, too!
