The midi dress. There are several different types of dresses that are very much on trend this season like the slip dress, the button front dress, the midi dress and of course maxi dresses are always in with warmer weather. If you’re going to pick one trend to follow or invest in however, I would go with the midi dress. Why? This is a style that can easily be adapted at any age and for any body type.

The mid-length dress or “midi dress” can seem daunting because it hits mid-shin, but if you buy to fit your body type, then you can easily rock this style! I have a shorter figure (5’2″) and a very short stomach, so I went with a dress that would accentuate my waist and elongate my figure.

My biggest piece of advice when trying this trend would be to accentuate those parts of your body that you’re proud of! If you have a long, slender figure, go for a body con midi dress, if you are physically fit, choose a dress with a plunging back to show off your muscles (jealous), or if you’re short like me, choose a sleeveless dress so that you don’t get swallowed up by fabric.

You’ve heard me preach before about investing in classic, timeless pieces and spending less money on trendier pieces, so I’ve grouped my favorite midi dresses below and all are under $100! So, happy shopping and do note that this dress comes in coral, too!

Thanks for reading, loves!!
