I’m not a huge fan of wearing matching dresses or matching shirts with my kids, but I couldn’t help but take a little note from Emma’s adorable outfit. We both got new TOMS for Christmas and decided to give the always fashionable LBD a feminine, edgy twist with our new kicks.
I think this day was a great reminder to me to not only let Emma’s lead with fashion, but let her lead the day. It’s so easy for me to get caught up in my agenda for us that I forget that may not be Emma’s plan. So, this day was all about letting Emma Grace lead the way and letting her dictate how long we played outside. Honestly, it’s a lot more fun that way!
