can a bra be supportive and sexy?

Hi, babes! A couple of weeks ago I posed a very serious question on my instagram stories: “what is your favorite bra?” I’ve been on a year-long quest for a good bra and had yet to find one that fits my post-baby boobies well, provides the proper support, and makes me feel sexy in my own skin. I received a variety of answers to my question, but the winner by a landslide was ThirdLove.

I’ve heard so many wonderful things about ThirdLove, a few of which really set them apart from other brands. Instead of sending in my measurements, I was asked questions like “what is my current size?”, “what is the current brand of bra I was wearing?”, and “how long have I owned my current bra?” Then I was shown diagrams to match the shape of my boob and the way my boobs fit in a bra cup. Yes, it’s a little humbling to pick the picture that matches my post-baby boobies, but I appreciated the sincerity of wanting to get the best picture of me and my breasts.

Once I completed my questionnaire, my perfect size was generated: 32 D 1/2. I wasn’t expecting the “half size,” but it made complete sense because I’ve never really fit perfectly into a D or a DD. Crazy! It also recommended the 24/7 Classic T-Shirt Bra for me and y’all, their T-Shirt Bra is so comfortable, so supportive, and fits like a second layer of skin. In addition to a regular T-Shirt Bra though, I wanted something a bit more fun for summer. After all, we gotta show a little skin in these warm summer months, right?

So, I also tried their Front Closure Lace Racerback Bra. I’ve always been scared to rock a racerback bra since I’m not an A cup, but I decided to give it a go. I was a bit shocked at how much I loved the bra. The cups are just as supportive and provide almost the same amount of coverage as their T-Shirt Bra. The straps are adjustable, making the bra feel as supportive as you’d like, and the lace back is so stinking cute that I couldn’t resist wearing it with a backless shirt.

So this week, I rocked my new Lace Racerback Bra in confidence as I enjoyed some coffee and worked at a local bakery. Thanks to everyone who recommended Thirdlove, too! You guys were so right!
