Happy Thursday, loves!! If you haven’t noticed, ASOS has been one of my go-to shops for trendy items. They definitely have some higher end brands, but they also have clothes that are super budget-friendly. It’s a great source to get those trendy items you know may only last a season without spending a fortune and without skimping on quality.
Rompers are a summer wardrobe staple for me, so I’m always looking to add one to my closet. When I found this one I ordered it thinking I would try it on, it would look like lingerie, and I would return it. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this little guy. For one, you can wear a strapless bra with it. I didn’t think you’d be able to because of how fun the back is, but you can! I also thought the front might be too gapey, but it is actually sewn together.
Once my worries were rendered unnecessary, I was hooked! The ruffle detailing along the hem and the outer edge of the shorts is so feminine and is a fun take on the ruffle trend happening right now. I like the tie waist detail, but love most of all that it’s an elastic band, so you can tie it as loose or as tight as you want for your figure and it will still look flattering!
And finally, it’s under $65, which is a win in my book because I know how much I’ll be wearing this little guy! If you want something a little more covered, try this blush off the shoulder romper, or try this blush romper with a subtle pineapple print!
