Happy Monday, babes!! How was y’all’s weekend? We got to celebrate a sweet college friend who’s getting married this summer and some of our closest Baylor buds that are going to have their first baby (PS – I wore this bold shoulder dress to the baby shower and it was a HUGE hit!!). We also managed to have a date night and let me tell you, it never ceases to amaze me how beneficial date night can be for Trav and me as a couple and for our sweet family. Now, if only we could figure out how to going on dates consistently…
Before I get to the fun part of today’s post – this adorable OTS top, I want to let all of you Dallasites in on one of the biggest Spring events here in our city that will be taking place this coming weekend: The Dallas Flea. The Dallas Flea is hosted by Fleastyle (if you follow along on my instastories, this is the company that hosted that dinner a couple of weeks ago at Mi Cocina with the delicious Casamigos Tequila). Anyway, The Dallas Flea is a major Flea Market that takes place this Friday, April 7th from 5-8pm (tickets are only $28 and that includes valet parking, a drink, and a tote) and Saturday, April 8th from 9am-5pm ($5 cash entry + $5 cash parking).
The Dallas Flea is a Flea market with 225 vendors! There’s a women’s section, men’s section, home section, a kid’s section and kid’s play area. Not only does the Dallas Flea have amazing shopping, but there will also be food trucks, drinks, and live music! It’s seriously a party! It’s also kid-friendly and dog-friendly, which makes it oh-so-much easier for us mamas to get out of the house. Oh, and bring your hubby, too, because there will be free barber shaves!
This top though. Y’all know I have a deep love for LOFT not only because they are constantly having amazing sales, but because their clothing can be styled multiple ways and for multiple ages. So, it shouldn’t be a shock that I found this OTS top from LOFT. At first glance, I almost passed this top up as it seemed like any old OTS out there. But, upon closer examination, I fell in love with the eyelet detailing on the sleeves and then fell in love with the fit. It’s just one of those tops that I can see myself wearing all summer.
