For some reason, I always find the transition period between Winter and Spring the hardest to dress for in regards to dress for events such as weddings, showers, company functions, etc. Do you have to wear tights? Can you wear open-toe shoes? If you live in a place like Dallas where it can be 70 degrees in January, can you forego your coat? Can you wear lighter colors or do you need to stick with darker hues? My simple answer is to wear what you're comfortable in because after all, confidence is the most attractive feature in a woman (says my hubby)! During this transitional period though, I like to flirt with some Spring trends, but still stay loyal to the true season - Winter. I thought this Lulu's dress did exactly that! It shows off one of Spring's biggest trends - florals, while keeping to deeper colors that still feel cold-weather appropriate. Since it is in fact warm in Dallas already, I paired it with blush pumps and no tights, but you could easily wear it with tights and some black ankle strap heels.
