Good morning and happy Monday! Monday’s usually seem quite daunting, but today I can’t help but smile knowing it’s a short work week for my family. We are leaving Wednesday evening to fly to Chicago for a Cubs/Cards game and then we’ll be heading to my parents lake house in Wisconsin for the long weekend.
Just thinking about cooler temps has me thinking about Fall fashion. You all know I’m a big fan of LOFT and the last time I was in there I found this fringe poncho. I Love the light colors that seem to make it wearable in the late summer, and the material is so soft I just picture myself cozying up by a fire in this poncho. Good news, too, is that this poncho is now on sale for under $50!
If you’re worried that a big poncho like this might swallow up your figure or make you look larger than you really are, I’d suggest adding a thin belt like this one from Nordstrom around the poncho to show off your waistline and give you more of a womanly figure. If you’re on the shorter side, too like me, I’d suggest wearing these bulkier items with a sandal or boot that has a heel on it to elongate your figure.
