We saw hints of the 70s creeping back in this past Spring and Summer, but I think it’s safe to say that the 70s are back in full force with the trends we’re seeing this Fall. We’re talking jumpsuits, block heels, fringe, flare jeans, suede and hoop earrings.

Don’t believe me? Check out this article showing how 12 stars welcome in Fall with 70s vibes.

At 40 weeks pregnant, I feel somewhat limited as to which 70s trends I can adapt to my stlye, but I this patterned 70s dress with panels and flare sleeves definitely seems doable. It’s comfortable, stylish, affordable, and would be a great dress to transition into cooler weather simply by adding a pair of boots or a suede vest.

Since it’s still pretty warm here in Dallas, I paired this dress with some fringe block heels I got this summer in Madrid, but fringe booties would be just as cute!

Some of the 70s trends I’m anxious to try out once baby comes are flare jeans, a suede dress or vest, and a jumpsuit! What 70s trend are you most excited about?

style tip: if you feel like you’re “too old” for this style or you’re nervous it won’t look good on you, start by adding just one piece of the 70s to your outfit and keep it simple; for example, pair a classically cut white button down top with a pair of flare jeans, or add a suede vest to your ensemble or even a purse with a little bit of fringe; you can totally pull it off!!!
