Metallic Loafers – an easy, polished way to make a statement!

LK Bennet metallic Loafers

Happy Friday, friends!! Are y’all so excited it’s finally the weekend!?!? I am! Tonight we’re meeting Trav after work at Emma Grace’s ballet studio. Emma Grace’s tap dance for her May recital is a father/daughter dance (so cute, right?) and they have their first rehearsal tonight. After dance we’re having dinner with our good friends and all the babes. Should be crazy and fun as always!

Even though our evening will be somewhat eventful, our day should be smooth-sailing. I try to let the girls set the tone of my days at home with them so it’s likely we’ll do a lot of swinging outside and possibly take our dog, Mia, to the dog park by White Rock Lake. When I’m with my littles I try to wear comfortable clothing because I never know what I’ll be doing – cuddling, running errands, swinging, playing with babies, the possibilities are endless!

What I’ve found to be beneficial about wearing a solid color, casual maxi dress is that it is so easy to transition it into the evening simply by an exchange of shoes. Let’s be honest that moms don’t have a ton of time to do a massive wardrobe change when you’re heading out the door. So, instead I reach for a pair of statement shoes, and lately I’ve been living in these L.K. Bennett flats.

These metallic flats are seriously such an easy way to elevate your outfit. They’re both comfortable and chic – a killer combo for a young mom! I love the little tassels on the toe, too! Thinking ahead, too, these shoes will transition so well into the Fall by pairing them with some dark denim and a blazer. How would you style them? I always love hearing y’all’s fashion and styling tips!!
