Happy Monday, y’all!! I hope you all had a great weekend and got to celebrate the daddy’s in your life! I’m still in NYC on a girls’ trip with my mom and sister, but our dad flew in last night for work and we got to have dinner with him. We went to an amazing vegan restaurant in the Upper East Side and I can’t wait to share all of our trip with you soon on the blog! Now, if I can just get back home to celebrate my hubby! 😉
Summer is finally here and that means weddings are in full swing, too! We went to a wedding in Waco a couple of weekends ago and I wore this dress from Anthropologie. To me, it’s the perfect feminine dress with blush tones, lace, and a flattering waistline. I don’t typically spend over $100 on a dress, but I knew I’d be able to get a lot of use out of this dress and I’ve already worn it on more than one occasion!
Because I feel like we’ve run the marathon of weddings since we graduated, we’ve started to perfect little details when we attend as guests. From the sharing a hotel room with friends to save money down to what I put in my purse, and I wanted to share them with you. Let me know if you have any good tips, too!!
Tips:
wear what you’re comfortable in – long dress, short dress, or a jumpsuit (unless it says formal attire)
always bring a pair of flat sandals in your purse for dancing
ship the gift to the couple early so you don’t have to mess with it at the wedding
share a hotel room with friends to save money
