Happy Monday, friends! Welcome back to the blog and as always, thanks for stopping by! I hope you all had a great weekend – I stated this on my instagram last night, but we had one of those weekends where we were home in Dallas without any plans or obligations. It was so nice to have a whole weekend to just hang out with our family, get some projects done around the home, run errands, and get the girls prepped for school to start next week.
While I was out running errands I noticed that some stores already have Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations out – how crazy is that?! I don’t know why it always shocks me, but it seems like they put Fall stuff out earlier and earlier each year. Despite my shock though, Fall is coming and it kind of makes me excited – it’s definitely my favorite season!
One of the coolest things about transitioning from Summer to Fall is fashion. It’s almost as if all rules are off and your outfit options are endless – shorts with a summer sweater, jeans with a sleeveless blouse, booties with shorts, booties with leather leggings, you name it! And right now, the bag trends are amazing. You can still carry the “it” ark bag with shorts or pants and booties, you can sport the oh-so-famous circle bag, you can carry a straw bag, or opt for a more Fall-looking bag and sport this wine-colored velvet backpack.
Because I’ve had so much fun styling outfits with new, transitional bags, I wanted to share some of my favorites with you! Most of my favorites are under $100! If you’re looking for a bag that you can carry now, through the Fall, and on into the Winter, I would opt for this Tory Burch tote. This tote is a great staple and goes with everything!
