Good morning, loves! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We spent our weekend helping host a couples baby shower for some sweet friends and then spent most of Sunday celebrating a friend’s birthday by playing yard games and enjoying the 70 degree weather that has returned to Dallas.
With this seemingly consistent warm weather in Dallas, I’ve kind of done a mental shift into Spring fashion. This time of year is always the most challenging to dress for in Dallas because although the temperatures are warm, it is technically still winter. So, I think the best way to combat this is by wearing pieces that can be worn in warm or cool climates.
Jumpsuits have been on trend since 2015 and will continue on into 2016, and they are such a good way to transition from Winter to Spring and even on into Summer. This one (for under $100) is great because the lighter colors will be perfect for Spring, but you could easily throw a trench coat, long vest, or leather jacket over it to wear in cooler temps. I also like the vertical stripes that help to elongate and slim your figure – always helps when you’re 5’2″!
