Happy Monday, loves! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. Our weekend consisted of lots of yard work, cleaning, and playing with our girls – nothing glamorous, but we loved it! As crazy as it seems, we’re only in Dallas 3 weekends this entire summer, this past weekend being one of them, so we took full advantage of having some down time!
A couple of weeks ago I polled you all on instagram to find out what type of content you wanted to see this summer, and separates was one of the requests. It does seems easy to throw a dress on, but envisioning what to match a top with can seem a bit more challenging at times.
Today’s top would be a great top to have this summer as it’s right on trend with a floral print and slightly cropped cut (don’t worry, it doesn’t show any tummy if you’re worried about that). I paired it with a pencil skirt for a more feminine look that would be great to wear to a shower or to work. If you have a more casual street style, then I’d pair this same top with cut off denim shorts, white denim shorts, distressed jeans, or white skinny jeans. It’s so exciting when you find a top that can be worn so many ways because you know you’re getting your money’s worth!
