Happy Thursday, loves! For some reason I’ve been a day ahead all week, so I was a little let down when I realized today was only Thursday… Oh, well! I can’t complain about a busy work week when I know I have a fun weekend coming up. The guys in our church group are taking their annual trip to the ranch, so I’ll be shaking up at my friend’s house with the kids. Wish us luck – 5 kids and two mammas!
Have you guys noticed this whole athletic wear trend that’s been creeping into every corner of fashion? From skirts to adidas pants to athletic tops, it’s really hard to miss. It’s one of those trends that I think is so cool, but I’m having to work at it to make it fit my style. If I’m being honest, it’s not a trend I really seek out. That being said, I came across this top while at Target (yes, it’s my home away from home), and thought it was so fun! I’m sure you’ll only need one guess to know that it’s a Who What Wear top. Man, WWW x Target is just killing it lately! If you don’t follow them on instagram, you totally should because they just gave a sneak peek of their summer line and its amazing.
If you’ve been a reader for awhile, then you know one of my biggest tips for wearing trendy items – don’t spend that much money on them! The whole athletic wear trend isn’t totally “me,” but it’s fun to mix into my wardrobe. So, a top that is under $30 is totally doable in my book. I love how this top cinches in at the waist to give you a fuller looking figure. It’s also super soft!! It’s neutral enough, too, that you can do a lot with it. I paired it with white denim for today’s look, but think it would look really cool with a denim skirt and sneaks, too!
