Happy Monday, friends!! Is anyone else still on a high from the Oscars? I think Jimmy Kimmel is absolutely hilarious and I think my marriage crush on JT & Jessica is even stronger now after their sweet little dance together in the beginning of the night. But today it’s back to reality, haha.
To say I am obsessed with today’s look would be an understatement. If you follow me on instastories or saw me running errands or at church this weekend, then you’ll have a pretty good idea about how much I wore these pants and shoes. I legit think I wore these pants 3 days in a row with different tops and can’t stop wearing these slides.
This outfit is fun because it touches on so many trends happening right now – the wide leg pants (that so reminds me of gauchos), the ruffle trend, and slides. I got these pants last year and was so pumped to see them come back in style. I love that they can be styled casually or more formally. I styled them with flats in this post because let’s be honest, flats are the only type of shoe I can wear when I’m with my girls. But, if you’re short (and maybe I should take my own advice because I’m only 5’2″), I’d suggest wearing this type of pant leg with wedges or heels to add length to your silhouette.
One more word about this look – these slides. Y’all, please hear me when I say they are so comfortable it’s like wearing house shoes! They have an added pad on the sole of your feet so it just feels like you’re walking on a soft cushion all day. The shoe is incredible and comes in black as well. You need to own these, haha.
